It has been a busy spring and summer and I have been doing a lot of sewing. This was a project that I did back in April. I made a matching skirt and top out of a light sea foam colored linen. I modified the skirt pattern by adding bias strips between the seams. I got this idea from a designer skirt I saw at a local department store. I was very please with the results. To give the outfit a personal touch a chose to embroider a simple rose design on the top and on the front panels near the hem of the skirt.
